Getting the wind up

It’s been a while, I know, but after a holiday I am back online and raring to go!

I mean that quite literally as this windy weather we have been having makes me quite playful and even puppyish.

There’s nothing I like better than running around with my big silky ears streaming behind me as I chase pheasants and squirrels. And the huge piles of leaves blown into every corner make an exciting playground for jumping in and sniffing around.

Aecause the humans have been away somewhere very warm, they have come back feeling the cold so the fire gets lit nice and early in the evening and I can bag the best spot on the rug in front of it, stretch out and dream of another energetic day bouncing around in the wind.

It really does not get much better than this, folks!
